Text from DriveInMovie.com: "The Cherry Bowl Drive-in is named as it placement in the cherry growing region of Michigan. In fact, the drive-in is still surrounding by cherry fields to this day. This is one of our favorite, family friendly drive-ins. It really retains and preserves a sense of what the 1950 boom years of drive-ins were like at an American Drive-in. Although FM radio broadcasting is now used to deliver the movies' audio, original vacuum tube Motiograph amplifiers are still powering speakers here on the speaker posts (which are all crowned with festive vintage red glow lights which are now a rate sight at drive-ins). The Cherry Bowl only shows G, PG and PG-13 movies in keeping with their family fun motto. The Cherry Bowl also still has a playground, miniature golf course and even a volleyball court. We definitely recommend a visit if you can."
