Homeschool Co-ops in the United States who take COVID safety measures

Tompkins Cortland Masked Activity Collective (TCMAC) is a community-based group prioritizing COVID-19 and other infectious disease mitigation created by two local parents. While we are based in the Tompkins and Cortland county area, we welcome individuals and families from the greater CNY region. The primary goal of this group is to facilitate safer in-person meetups rather than serving in the same capacity as online Still Coviding Groups. However, sharing of resources, particularly local, is welcome. It is intended as a safe haven for those who are:
medically vulnerable, and/or
seeking to avoid exposure to illness, and/or
willing to help create a safe space for themselves, their families, and their community

We’ll be starting out very simple with twice a month masked playground meetups—having children is not a pre-requisite! If you’re looking for a safer way to meet other cautious people in person you are also welcome to join us. 👋 We are a community of masked secular homeschoolers in Greater Rochester NY. We meet several times a month for:
- unstructured play
- nature hikes
- arts & crafts
- science experiments & engineering challenges
- field trips

👫 Currently, most of our children fall in the 5-13 age range. We scaffold structured activities to be age-appropriate across age & stage. We do not offer a drop-off program. We do offer an informal friend group of mutual support for social and educational opportunities.

😷 We prioritize disease mitigation. We have an indefinite commitment to masking and other mitigations. Additionally, we use collective bargaining to arrange private tours and field trips where providers will mask with minimum KN95/KF94/FFP2 masks.

Homeschool co-op meeting twice per week in Newtown, CT, requiring proof of vaccination and masking while indoors.

We are a 100% outdoors, well-masked co-op for families mostly based in Ulster and Dutchess Counties. We offer free Friday/Saturday parent-led playdates and field trips in various locations. Other activities include virtual dance parties, virtual lego play, soccer clinics, and more!

We strive to be inclusive in every possible way. Join us to meet other local Covid-cautious families!

A group of like-minded homeschoolers in the Madison area to plan events and make new friends. We believe in COVID and we believe in protecting our most vulnerable among us. We require N95 or equivalent masks indoors and outdoors.

CT-based homeschool co-op requiring all members to mask, and asking that all members refrain from crowded high-risk activities. This group takes COVID precautions very seriously, and asks that others that do not follow strict masking and vaccination schedules, or who frequently travel and visit indoor restaurants and other high-transmission activities DO NOT join.

We follow CDC guidelines for vaccinations.
