I visited in April 2023 and as of then, masks were required for all patients. Front-desk staff wore surgical masks, but dentist and hygienist/assistant wore 3m Aura N95s. The patient room had a Winix air purifier next to the chair. Individual rooms, but with no doors. Practice was accommodating of my request for a first-of-the-day appointment and didn't book anyone else at the same time. The dentist was also very respectful of my concerns and took steps to minimize unnecessary splatter to avoid compromising the Readimask I was wearing just over my nose.
Had an appointment here in the fall of 2022. Everyone required to wear a mask. HEPA purifiers in every room. My hygienist wore an N95 while I was maskless for my cleaning.
Smile Beautiful Dental requires appointments and masks for both patients and staff. Patients must complete a pre-appointment health screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken upon arrival. All the staff were wearing their masks properly, and I didn't have to ask anyone to cover their noses. Unlike many dentist's offices that are "open concept", each of the procedure rooms have doors, so you don't need to worry about when other patients are talking with their masks off.
Small practice. Dental chairs in separate rooms. Uses Vidashield UV lights above each chair for air cleaning. Dental employees wear surgical masks. During my visit CO2 level 860-890 ppm.
