Summer Drive-In, outdoors @ USA Hockey Arena
14900 Beck Road, Plymouth Twp., MI 48170., Plymouth, Michigan, 48170, United States

Outdoor Summer Drive-In, in the parking lot of USA Hockey Arena

Buy tickets online ahead of time and then drive up and present them to the person at the little booth (they likely won’t be masked, present your ticket from your car, they give you a program, you drive away)

Head to your movie’s screen (three large screens across a very large lot, all distinct from each other) and find a spot based on your preference, spacing out however you like. You can stay in your car the whole time, or bring chairs etc and sit on the ground outside - others around you may be doing the same.

(I don’t prefer screen one because it’s next to the parking lot for the business next door, so the lighting from that lot glares on the screen, especially further back)

Movie audio comes through the radio, so be sure to bring one that can pick up local channels or be prepared to run your car the whole time.

Bathrooms are inside though and the closest entrance to the screens means a journey down a long hallway inside, so may be helpful to bring portable purifiers, go before you go, or anything else that might help prepare for that. There may be another way to travel around to shorten the time inside, but I don’t know it if there is.

Decode Ypsilanti
16 N Washington St, Ypsilanti, Michigan, 48197, United States

This is by farrrr the best escape room I’ve ever been to, so much so that I tell people not to go if they’ve never been to others before because it’ll only be downhill from there lol

I’ve spoken to Janice on more than one occasion (family owned business, her two sons own it and she also works there often) and she is wonderful and has been very enthusiastic about making this a safe place for anyone who wants to go, and personally cares about covid precautions and keeping everyone safe.

Masks are not required, but they will go above and beyond to make sure everything’s covered in a totally friendly and accommodating way - Booking appointments first thing so no one has been in before you, opening a little early to avoid having the next group coming in while you’re leaving, staff all wearing masks, etc.

They’ve also recently updated their HVAC system and, even more recently, re-launched (re-polished?) their curbside game! I’ve never done that one and don’t know much about it aside from you play from your phone in your car, so wouldn’t even have to go inside✨

I don’t know about the other locations, but am also pretty sure there’s an outdoor walking version in Ann Arbor too, but haven’t checked on that one recently.

Love this place and can’t recommend it enough! Friends who’ve been in recent memory too also all have said they had a great experience and that it felt very safe and enjoyable

I 💜 Decode!

Ford Wyoming Drive-in
10400 Ford Road, Dearborn, Michigan, 48126, United States

Text from Facebook page: "Experience the biggest and brightest outdoor screens in the world, right here in Metro Detroit!"

Text from DriveInMovie.com: "The Ford Wyoming Drive-in is a large, 5 screen drive-in movie theater located in Dearborn, Michigan which is just outside of Detroit. The Ford Wyoming Drive-in was once the largest drive-in theater in the United States (as far as car capacity as it could hold 3000 cars). Originally a single screen drive-in, the Ford Wyoming Drive-in was expanded through the years until it showcased 9 screens (which is when it could hold 3000 cars). However, screens 6-9 were torn down in 2010 leaving it with 5 remaining screens and its current car capacity of about 2500 cars. The drive-in is open year round which is very unusual as most of the drive-ins in the North are only open seasonal. We are not sure, but we think this is the Northern most drive-in opened year round. But do not worry about the cold as the Ford Wyoming Drive-in supplies in-car heaters to keep you warm without running your car. It is also Detroit's last remaining drive-in theater. Pets are allowed as long as they are leashed and well behaved and cleaned up after. Currently, admission is $27 per car no matter how many people are in the car. If you are a single occupant, the admission is still $27 but they will give you a $10 voucher for the concession stand."

Text from Facebook page: "Playing 1st run and retro films. Beautiful camp like feel and quite peaceful setting. Family owned."

Text from DriveInMovie.com: "The Memory Lane Drive-in Theater is a twin screen drive-in theater located in Frenchtown, Michigan which is located about halfway between Detroit, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio. The Memory Lane Drive-in is a new, built from the ground up drive-in that opened on May 28th, 2021 after years of planning and construction. The drive-in is located on the site of the former Denniston Drive-in which was originally built in 1956 but closed and demolished in about 1985. The owner of the Memory Lane Drive-in wrote that this drive-in had been a dream of his for the last 10 years. While opening as a single screen drive-in, a second screen was added in early 2023 making it a twin. Admission is currently $11 for Adults, $6 for Kids 5-11 years old and Free for kids 4 and under.
