Just an independent service provider in Gainesville, Florida. I am a licensed massage therapist who has worked with injuries, accidents, insurance and more. I am also a licensed esthetician trained in advanced products, procedures and machines, the majority of my work is focused on reducing pain and increasing mobility. I hope to meet you soon!
I use an KN95 while I'm in my office and while I'm out and about in public. I use a certified HEPA filter in my treatment room. I disinfect and sanitize the treatment room after every client.
While I don't require masks of my clients, several choose to wear them. If you are immune compromised and want a morning appointment assuring a safer environment for you, I'm happy to accommodate. Just email me and I can get you in my schedule.
I wear a mask during all appointments. I ventilate the room and run a window unit during and in between appointments. I sanitize all touched surfaces with Chlorox wipes. I diffuse essential oils for virus removal. I am available by appointment only.
We’re a queer owned business, currently working out of our home offices. There are two practitioners- Britt is out licensed esthetician & Jules is our licensed massage therapist / somatic body/ energy work practitioner. We offer a variety of services & sliding scale. Pls see more on our website and socials!
We try and be as accessible as possible, offering home visits ( when possible), and you may request your services be done in a rooms
on our main floor, for those with mobility aids.
Massage Vermont offers gentle massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, and foot reflexology in a COVID-cautious office. Everyone wears a KN95, KF94, or N95 mask. We stagger appointment times between our two treatment rooms so no more than one client and practitioner are in any area. We ask clients to arrive at their appointment time so there is no one sitting in the waiting area.
I had the best experience at Vessel! Vessel is a one-room office in a small office building. Susie masks and requires patrons to mask as well. There was also an air filter running throughout the day.
Susie is also so proactive at protecting the health of her clients. A member of her household had a low-grade fever the day before our appointment, so she reached out and rescheduled with me. It made me feel so comfortable and confident that the space was safe.
Business has an outdoor patio option for massages.
Pampering meets evidence-based reasoning at Green Sprout Massage, providing safe and effective massage therapy for restorative relaxation as well as relief of pain and tension. Massage therapist Chloe Bradley wears an n95 mask in all indoor spaces and takes precautions in her everyday life in order to maintain a safe environment for vulnerable clients. Appointments are spaced apart by a minimum of 30 minutes to allow for effective disinfecting of all touch surfaces, as well as airing out the room. Air filter runs at all times. Therapist is willing to test herself for covid before sessions, by request. A variety of n95 masks are provided to clients, to ensure a comfortable and effective fit.
I am a MA and RI based massage therapist who has been sensitive to both the immunologically-vulnerable and those with allergies and chemical sensitivities for many years.
I continue to wear a silicone respirator to see clients and an N95 for day-to-day activities outside the office and ask clients to wear a well-fitting N95 that I provide or one of their own when in my office or waiting room. I have a variety of styles of N95s, including lightweight duckbills that allow for more space around the nose and mouth. Clients are screened the day before and at the time of their appointments, and I self-monitor for symptoms constantly. I currently test when I notice any changes in my health that overlap with COVID-19 symptoms and encourage clients to do so also.
Time between appointments is currently 45 minutes during which box fans (and occasionally a third oscillating fan), an open window, and two air purifiers facilitate air turnover while I wipe surfaces with a medical grade/EPA approved disinfectant.
Throughout the pandemic, I have worked with outdoor ventilation and continue to do so. A table warmer, multiple heating pads, and a space heater have mitigated the cold as some measure of outdoor air during treatments and substantially more following them has helped mitigate the potential spread of airborne illness. (Because I have been so active in facilitating air exchange, I have not been using a CO2 monitor.)
I remain up-to-date on vaccinations, COVID-19 and flu included, and encourage clients to stay up-to-date also.
For clients with allergies and/sensitivities, air exchange also helps remove scents clients may bring into the office and an essential oil that I may have used with a client. I typically offer to use either peppermint, lavender, or lemon in a carrier oil. Linen is laundered in a fragrance free, hypoallergenic detergent, and canvas bags laundered in the same way are provided for each client’s clothing and personal effects. I also use fragrance free soap in my office and avoid disinfectants with fragrances.
I sincerely welcome and encourage questions and suggestions for improving safety and comfort.
All employees will wear a kn95 upon request; Shelby Ratcliffe always wears one and also has an air purifier in her massage room. Be sure to book with Shelby.
I am an independent contractor working out of an established office in South Portland, ME. I am the only practitioner using these covid precautions unfortunately, but in my treatment room I require surgical masks as a minimum for masks, I monitor C02 levels and have windows open with and exhaust fan, and I use multiple HEPA grade air filters - one larger filter for the room and a portable filter that I keep by the head of the massage table.
Customizable vegan friendly skin services, in an affirming treatment space, brought to you by an Esthetician/ PMUA with over 17 years of experience.
Contactless Highlights
Masks are required for all appointments. For services in which a mask is removed, it is suggested and appreciated that you test for covid prior to your appointment.

Hello! I am a covid conscious massage therapist.
In addition to cleaning protocols, I have an over capacity high grade filter in my massage room.
I am more than happy to wear a mask for our session upon request, no reason needed. Simply ask or indicate your preference on my intake form.
The focus of Maija Salin’s practice WiseBodyMind is facilitating each client’s healing process through the use of CranioSacral Therapy and other gentle hands-on modalities. Maija is certified at the Diplomate (advanced) level in Upledger CranioSacral Therapy and is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. In addition, she holds certifications in Clinical Massage Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage, and Anatomy Trains Structural Integration.
Maija wears an N95 respirator and has HEPA filters in each room she works in. She asks clients to wear masks as well. Her suite-mates sometimes do not wear a mask though. She does provide virtual services as well as in person.
I am very careful about covid exposure. I have multiple family members with compromised immune systems, so I have to be. I have had 4 doses of the Phizer covid vaccine and one of Moderna. I contracted covid-19 in early 2023 from a family member, in spite of my precautions, so for the time being I am that much more protected. I am also current on all other recommended vaccines for my region.
This is a low traffic space, so there is little chance of encountering anyone else in the waiting area. I share with only one other practitioner. My building is situated so that I can easily air out my office between clients. I open the front door, my office door, and a nearly floor to ceiling window in my office, and the air blows through for the 20 - 30 minutes I schedule between clients.
I use a good quality air filter which is situated near the head of the massage table. I wear an KN95 mask when in my office. Most of my clients wear N95 masks during most or all of their session. Many take it off when face down with face in the head cradle, as it can make people claustrophobic. If a client arrives without a mask I have a pack of new KN95s on hand and provide them as needed.
Beyond that my office is cleaned daily. I use fresh linens that I launder myself on hot. I clean high contact surfaces daily or more.
Specifically the massage therapist Darl always wears a kn95 or n95, though other practitioners and most clients there are unmasked. He runs a HEPA filter in the treatment room. There are only I think 5ish treatment rooms and everything is by appointment only.
Darl is my massage therapist and he is wonderful! He practices with a lot of Tui Na and Eastern Deep Tissue techniques to great effect. Chriopractique takes insurance too for those who have a plan that covers massage treatments.
To book with Darl, go to https://chiropractiquesd.com/team/massage/, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the BOOK DARL NOW button or call (619) 269-9909.

Clients are encouraged to wear masks for the entirety of the appointment, with the exception of the duration of work inside the mouth for persistent TMJD. The therapist masks with every client who masks or requests they mask. There is a HEPA filter in the office which cycles the air 4 times per hour and there is an hour between appointments. Linens are changed and all surfaces are disinfected between appointments.
Walton Massage Therapy offers massage therapy for cancer care, caregivers, and health care workers. This includes anyone with cancer or a cancer history, professional and lay caregivers, people recovering from recent caregiving, and people who work in health care in any role or setting. In addition, we welcome clients who do not fall into these categories, but are searching for a COVID-conscious environment.
Updated October 11, 2024:
I continue to provide services in a covid-conscious environment. I continue to wear a mask in my treatment room. There is excellent filtration in the treatment room (oversized HEPA in the room and MERV-13 filters in the building HVAC). As weather and temperature permit, windows are opened between sessions and whenever possible during sessions. Surfaces are wiped down after every session.
(Please note: The above practices apply to my own office. The office is in a professional building where in the common areas, most clients and practitioners are not masking. However, once you are inside my treatment room, I wear a mask.)
In the COVID pre-screen completed before the session, clients are asked to test if they have mild COVID-like symptoms, and to mask. If a client has moderate or severe symptoms, we reschedule the session at no charge.
Learn more at www.waltonmassagetherapy.com. Please reach out through the contact form with any questions, and when you book an initial session. Sessions may be booked online through the scheduler.
Thank you! - Tracy Walton
I'm Meg Donnelly, a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of NoVA Weekend Warriors. I focus on those who are new to fitness and everyday, recreational athletes of all abilities, at all levels of fitness.
While I love addressing the everyday aches and pains that come along with starting a new routine, implementing a new training program or pushing yourself to the next level, I also know there’s no cookie cutter approach and no cutter cutter version of what it means to be an athlete. Whether you are just starting out, a seasoned athlete, or your training is on pause post-Covid, I'm here for you. All abilities. All levels of fitness.

NoVA Weekend Warriors is a Covid Conscious massage and mobility studio. Please review my Covid Conscious Principles on my website at:

Hello! To protect my immunocompromised clients and others who have concerns, I'm continuing my covid precautions. They're posted on my website, and include masks; HEPA air purifier; Purell sanitizer available; Protex hospital-grade disinfectant to wipe down all surfaces after each client. I also have board certification in Chinese herbal medicine (2011) and specialize in combining Thai massage, Shiatsu, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine prescription to help with many conditions including long COVID and neurological disorders.
I wear a Dentec elastomeric mask the entire time I'm in the clinic space, and I only see a few clients per day, spaced out by 30 min. I have a Germ Guardian and Rabbit Air filter in the treatment room and monitor CO2 with an Aranet.
I do a lot of facial work so when a patient takes off their mask I have them rinse with a CPC mouthwash. Otherwise they are welcome to wear any kind of mask for the entire treatment.
I can open a door for outside air ventilation if needed, and I use a fan to air out between clients.
I also offer telehealth herbal and home care consults for COVID-related issues and sequellae. I am trained in this and helped set up guidelines for the Los Angeles Acupuncturists Without Borders volunteer clinic in 2020.

The massage therapist is super thoughtful about COVID. She will not see patients who are unwell. She wears a KN95 mask and all clients must be masked except when face down on the table. She has HEPA filters. Extensive COVID policy on website that has more information.
I am fully vaccinated & boosted and have implemented a robust set of safety protocols to keep you safe, including:
* I will remain masked at all times, and client masking is appreciated. (Disposable masks provided if needed.)
* Sanitizing before and after every client.
* Air purifier running continuously in the treatment room.
* Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available.
I strongly encourage clients to be vaccinated if at all possible.

Treatment and relaxation specialist who is ultra Covid cautious. Fresh air ventilation between clients. I've had 5 mrna doses as of 1/23, and get boosted each time it's available. I wear an elastomeric mask with a kf-94 over it, at all times, and require clients to wear medical grade masks at all times.
I provide Bluna Face-Fit kf-94's which are highly protective and breathable, free of charge, and am skilled at helping clients get comfortable on the massage table while safely and protectively masked.
I use 2 high quality medical grade air purifiers in my treatment space. I monitor CO2 and lightly humidify the air. Additionally I use an oscillating vertical heater/fan that reaches above and below the massage table to add an extra layer of protection during your massage, and have been doing this since 10/20 after reading Linsey Marr's research on mitigating airborne transmission indoors.
I also use best practices for surface cleaning in between every client. I test at least weekly and have tests available for every client, however my focus is primarily on making sure airborne transmission risk is as low as possible via masking and air cleaning protocols.
I have a background in immunology and cell biology and stay current with Covid biomedical research, and go to great lengths to provide excellent massage while ensuring safety for self and others. I solely practice massage therapy privately.
Sliding scale Trauma Informed Bodywork, Somatic Therapy and Nervous System Nourishment offered in a Covid-19/Infectious Illness conscious setting, both in person and online.
In Person Requirements: Proof of vaccination, KN95/N95 mask, must not be presenting with any symptoms out of the ordinary with 7 days of appointment, household members must be healthy within 7 days of appointment. Folks unable to meet requirements will not be serviced.
Community Care over Individual needs!
For the particular office where sessions take place, ALL clients are required to wear masks at all times (provided free of charge if needed). Practitioner is covid cautious (avoids crowds, wears an N95 or higher indoors and in populated areas outdoors) and takes a rapid test day of session. High touch surfaces disinfected between all clients. Distance reiki is also available.
*There will be NO changes in infection control practices in response to the dropping of the mask mandate*
Fountain of Youth is an in-home manual and massage therapy clinic. Three HEPA filters are running throughout the day. One hour is taken between each appointment to disinfect and air out the studio. Practitioner and clients both wear N95s (or equivalent) throughout sessions. Practitioner is fulled vaccinated and up to date on boosters.
I am a massage therapist with a private practice. I always wear an N95 mask with clients and anytime I am indoors in a public space. I am vaccinated and boosted.
I have been continuing massage with Jackie Reynolds since a couple months into the pandemic when we were both wearing masks. She had been open about her precautions and vaccination to the point where as a trusted client she and I agreed that it was safe for me not to wear a mask while in the treatment room with her, as she is still wearing a KN95.
Restaurant, Spa, and Lodging
Safety protocols from business:

Lodging rooms are thoroughly cleaned between each stay
Even our behind the-scenes work and storage areas are spotless
Reduced Capacity
We’ve altered out business model to allow for a more spacious guest experience
Access is by reservation only
Vaccination Requirements
We are requiring staff and guests to be vaccinated for COVID. Details
Click here to understand the reasoning behind this decision
Mask Requirement
All massage therapists are required to wear a high-performing mask, either an N-95, KN-95, or KF-94
All massage guests are required to wear facemasks
Ventilation
All interior spaces are checked for adequate fresh air exchange by carbon dioxide monitoring
Windows and doors are cracked open in the spa, massage rooms, and restaurant, even in cooler weather
HVAC systems provide fresh air makeup
Vent fans in all bathrooms exhaust outside to assure constant air exchange
Kitchen hoods at izanami create negative pressure in the entire restaurant, bringing in fresh air
All tubs are open air
Air Filtration
MERV13 filters are used in all HVAC systems. MERV13 is the highest rating for normal forced air systems, filtering out 85% of all particles 1 micron in size and larger. COVID aerosols average 3 microns.
HEPA filters are in use in all treatment rooms and in many of the smaller rooms of the spa. HEPA filters capture 99% of 1 micron aerosols.
Germicidal UltraViolet Light
There is upper air germicidal UV light in the spa lobby and the izanami dining room. This creates a ‘killing zone’ in the air of the top part of each room. COVID aerosols are destroyed in an average of 16 seconds when they enter this zone.
We use 254 nanometer UVC, the most effective wavelength for killing pathogens. The UV is active 24/7 and can operate safely even while spaces are occupied
Dosimeters to measure stray UV in the lower part of the room assure that there is no exposure to skin or eyes
In-duct germicidal UV is used in the HVAC systems at the restaurant

All evidence-informed and centered around disability justice and compassionate care.

Packages can include online coaching options and in person sessions, including Partner-assisted massage coaching and Intra-Oral massage treatment. They only have one client in the building at time and they clean the room between each client.
I am located in a yoga studio where masks are optional but the owners are thoughtful and practice other safety measures including excellent HEPA air filtration throughout. I prefer my clients wear masks. I am masked at all times in a NIOSH approved N95. Furthermore, the massage rooms run on a separate air conditioning system and are also equipped with HEPA air filtration. Additional safety information is available on my blog about "Covid Conscious Massage."
Drug-free pain and anxiety relief through foot reflexology and myofascial release. Appointments are fully clothed and can be indoors or out. Indoor appointments have two HEPA air filters running and window open, weather permitting. Online classes for home stretching practice also available.
5 stars on Google and Yelp, I've been in business in the Brandon / Riverview area for 10 years. I specialize in therapeutic, problem solving massage therapy and have been recognized in 2018 & 2019 as one of the top massage therapists in the Tampa Bay Times People's Choice Awards. I took a 15 month pandemic pause and reopened within The Ancient Wisdom of Yoga, and am a COVID cautious therapist. Some of the mitigation measures against the pandemic include:
- I'm personally fully vaccinated and take all available boosters
- I wear a good KF94 mask in the office and in all indoor public settings
- My treatment room runs 2 HEPA air purifiers and exchange the air between massages with outdoor air with a ventilation fan
- I test for COVID weekly to try to guard against asymptomatic transmission
- I avoid high risk interactions like indoor restaurant dining
- I have free KF94 masks available to all clients and they are highly encouraged.
My space exists within a wellness center, and it is a generally uncrowded place with the yoga classes in a large space with separate air circulation systems. I work by appointment only, and if you are trying to avoid interaction with all others I can schedule you appropriately when there are no classes etc. I work with many high risk individuals and do my very best to screen clients and make things as safe as possible for the immunocompromised.
